Destination West Glacier Campground!

Leaving 3 Forks KOA, headed off to Glacier Nat'l Park.

Heard we might get rain to help clear out the smoke. 🤞🙂🤞

Long rainy drive to my campground in West Glacier. Road was along Flathead Lake, headed into Kalispell.


Cooked up a NY strip, sautéed mushrooms, onions, garlic, with a side of pork n beans.


Got a new cot & inflatable mattress from REI in Missoula. Worked great. The only problem was the super loud horn of the train that passed closeby every hour or so! Another night of minimal sleep. 🥱

    I’m super impressed by yet another delicious looking meal you’ve created😋so yummy. Looks like the autumn weather is truly arriving, I’m loving all the yellow leaves on the ground. You seem to have a pretty awesome, cozy setup. I’m happy you got yourself a nice cot and mattress so you can sleep more comfortably. Enjoy the rest of your time at Glacier campground! Miss you

Heading out to Natalie's apartment in State College, PA. Chilly frosty clear Tennessee morning! Took a slightly different road to get to highway 81, was able to get a great view of the hills surrounding the Strands!

Meteor Crater, Arizona

Just east of Grand Canyon, checked out meteor crater, pretty amazing! You can see the crater off in the distance. There was a lot of displaced earth when this meteor hit! Entering into the visitor's center, lots of stuff to do & see! Here is a picture frame of the San Francisco peaks off in the distance on the left. This was solid metal. Crazy heavy! Got here too late. Oh well 🙄 Evening sun to soon go down... Lots of viewing spots.  🧐 The impact spot.  Cool place! Hard to imagine this happening!

Niagara Falls at night

Took a little detour to Niagara Falls on the way back home. Stayed the night at  hotel located very close to the falls. Cool walk to the falls. Ran across a skunk & some raccoons on the pathway. The American side Heading towards Horseshoe Falls,  Best viewed from the Canadian side. Pretty impressive,  even at night!
