Camping at North Platte, Nebraska 9-15-20

Tented at Holiday RV Park & Campground last night. Grilled up a scrumptious NY strip & cooked some basil pesto garlic pasta. 😋🥩


Got up this morning to a beautiful day, brewed up some dark roast ☕. Cooked up some eggs, bacon, & corned beef hash. 🥓🍳 I won't be needing to eat today after all this. 😁


Back on the road, headed over the gorgeous Rockies to see Jason & Nellie on the west side of CO!  7 hr drive.

Friday night at Uncle Russ & Aunt Ann's, all my cousins were here for chicken dinner. Ann Marie & her husband Jim, Bill (Brian), Donna (Renee), + uncle Bruce arrived! Heading out to Natalie's apartment in State College, PA. Chilly frosty clear Tennessee morning! Took a slightly different road to get to highway 81, was able to get a great view of the hills surrounding the Strands!

Meteor Crater, Arizona

Just east of Grand Canyon, checked out meteor crater, pretty amazing! You can see the crater off in the distance. There was a lot of displaced earth when this meteor hit! Entering into the visitor's center, lots of stuff to do & see! Here is a picture frame of the San Francisco peaks off in the distance on the left. This was solid metal. Crazy heavy! Got here too late. Oh well 🙄 Evening sun to soon go down... Lots of viewing spots.  🧐 The impact spot.  Cool place! Hard to imagine this happening!

Niagara Falls at night

Took a little detour to Niagara Falls on the way back home. Stayed the night at  hotel located very close to the falls. Cool walk to the falls. Ran across a skunk & some raccoons on the pathway. The American side Heading towards Horseshoe Falls,  Best viewed from the Canadian side. Pretty impressive,  even at night!
