Sedona

Another highlight of the trip! You can never go wrong with coming to Sedona. 
.. Unfortunately everyone else has the same flippin idea! 🤬 It was OVERPACKED with people, cars, construction, tourists everywhere,  yikes! Very slow going.. 😳 It took 2 hours just to see Cathedral Rock by Red Rock Crossing! So I had had to make an executive decision & make it quick because I had to be at my tent site just outside Grand Canyon before dusk! Couldn't fart around too long in Sedona, & plus I've seen it many times when I lived over the hill in PRESS-KIT Valley! 😁 

Sedona is still gorgeous as ever!
 
Such an amazing church!

Slide Rock. Didn't swim in it tho.. 🤔


What better view for when you are forced to eat junk food?


Wish I had a few days to hang in Sedona, hiking, browsing art stores, getting more amazing views! Next time it's going to be a only destination!

Friday night at Uncle Russ & Aunt Ann's, all my cousins were here for chicken dinner. Ann Marie & her husband Jim, Bill (Brian), Donna (Renee), + uncle Bruce arrived! Had a great time my entire stay here! Heading out to Natalie's apartment in State College, PA. Chilly frosty clear Tennessee morning! Took a slightly different road to get to highway 81, was able to get a great view of the hills surrounding the Strands!

Meteor Crater, Arizona

Just east of Grand Canyon, checked out meteor crater, pretty amazing! You can see the crater off in the distance. There was a lot of displaced earth when this meteor hit! Entering into the visitor's center, lots of stuff to do & see! Here is a picture frame of the San Francisco peaks off in the distance on the left. This was solid metal. Crazy heavy! Got here too late. Oh well 🙄 Evening sun to soon go down... Lots of viewing spots.  🧐 The impact spot.  Cool place! Hard to imagine this happening!

Niagara Falls at night

Took a little detour to Niagara Falls on the way back home. Stayed the night at  hotel located very close to the falls. Cool walk to the falls. Ran across a skunk & some raccoons on the pathway. The American side Heading towards Horseshoe Falls,  Best viewed from the Canadian side. Pretty impressive,  even at night!
